social media
Word list · S
Two words, lowercase. Social media is a useful collective term, but a named platform is often clearer when you mean a particular audience, feature, or post. Avoid calling every online service social media simply because people use it to communicate.
Example: We shared the announcement on social media.
More specific: We shared the announcement on Instagram.
